A very pretty Crinoline Lady serving tray/plate, in the softest of pastel hues.
Depicting a 'maiden' in period dress, with flower basket, strolling amongst country garden blooms. A wide brimmed hat is tied at the chin with a bow, and she lifts her skirts as she walks. Behind her is a bird house and a little bird in flight. In all a lovely evocative scene in the sofest of pinks, yellows and greens. Embossed detail around the serving handles and edged in a clear blue.
This exceedingly pretty serving dish dates to c.1920s/30s, back stamped with makers mark; H&K Tunstall. One chip under the rim, barely noticeable in use (see pictures please), otherwise superb condition as seen.
Measures approximately 11.5in (28.5cm) by 5in (13cm).
Pretty, decorative and useful!
