Depicting a bowl of vividly coloured pansies in a deep cobalt blue bowl, this gorgeous colour saturated picture has all the hallmarks of a truly alluring vintage floral painting-stunning colour, simple garden flowers, period wood frame. The bowl is set upon a rich brown surface, in whose lustrous conker brown it is reflected, while above the background is a gorgeous period natural green. Dating to around the mid century/1950s-70s, it is in very good vintage condition. Signed by the artist, C. Spruce, to bottom right corner.
